SCHUBERT Quartet D.887 in G

Sought after for their insight and imagination, the Chilingirian Quartet, founded in 1971, is one of the world’s most celebrated and widely travelled ensembles. Maestros in their own right, as a quartet they are renowned both for their thrilling interpretations of earlier composers and commanding performances of the contemporary repertoire.

As well as broadcasting throughout Europe, North America and for the BBC, they make many recordings and have recently embarked on a project of DVDs of all the Beethoven Quartets recorded live.

Please Note:
This Concert has been previously advertised as the Belcea Quartet.

Due to unforeseen circumstances the Belcea Quartet are now unfortunately unable to complete their UK tour, however we are delighted that the Chilingirian Quartet will be making an additional appearance this season and apologise for any inconvenence caused.
