Turin Brakes
At their core Turin Breaks are the modern pop folk song writing duo Olly Knights and Gale Paridjanian who were who were friends in junior school. They formed a band Turin Brakes who began playing full-band live shows at the Reading and Leeds festivals.
They are more than a little obsessed with guitars. Their band Rob, Ed and L'il Phil have been in the frame for a long time.
They have a crazy lovely fan base who keep them in business and they feel like their best is just ahead of them - like a giant golden carrot leading them on and on, down a road, across a field and into a brown sack.
To quote the band ....
“they will have to kill us to stop us”.
