Dance Mosaic from Brighton-based Fine & Dandy Dance is an exciting programme from some of the brightest new young choreographers.
Rambert-trained Dandy Diwangkara is the inspiration behind
the Fine & Dandy Dance. The Brighton resident brings together a programme of contemporary dance, including pieces specially created for the Brighton Fringe.
Diwangkara's pieces have been performed to critical acclaim at the Royal Opera House’s Linbury Theatre, at London’s Olympia and Floral Hall as part of the National Dance Critics’ Awards ceremony.
His piece ‘Time’, performed at Resolution! 2007, was hailed as the best contemporary premiere by influential dance critic Hans-Theodor Wohlfahrt in the magazine Dance Europe.
