The hall was originally renovated with the primary purpose of being a recording venue for the recording of work by The Hanover Band, the resident orchestra at The Old Market.
The hall can therefore be varied for a range of acoustics - from ‘very lively’ to ‘warm and intimate’ and is importantly, not on the flight path. The venue has extensive dressing room, kitchen & refreshment facilities to provide for large numbers of performers.
As a unique facility within the Sussex area - the venue is located just off the seafront and a 15 minute walk from Brighton station.
