The Old Market is a flexible venue for a wide range of music and performance events - from theatre, dance and comedy to live music, book launches and visual art events.
At its renovation, one of the primary intended uses for the Bryson Hall was as a recording space. It consequently has a wonderful acoustic, offering an intimate, 'up-close' experience for all types of music and performance.
The staging is flexible and can either be raised or flat, to the side or end-on, while the seating can be arranged in a wide range of styles from traditional 'theatre style' to a 'cabaret' stye with chairs and tables, or 'in the round'. It is also an ideal space for performances requiring more unconventional layouts.
Tiered seating can be brought in by arrangement. |
